Galapagos is a drug discovery company with two operating divisions: drug discovery and BioFocus DPI, Galapagos’ service division. Galapagos’ drug discovery division aims to develop novel, disease-modifying drugs in selected bone and joint disease areas for which there is a need for safe and effective medicines. Galapagos’ BioFocus DPI service division offers a full suite of target-to-candidate drug discovery products and services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as to not-for-profit organizations, encompassing target discovery and validation, screening and drug discovery through to delivery of pre-clinical candidates.
